Every drain backing up at once, a toilet that gurgles when the washer drains, or a sewage smell in the yard? That’s usually the main sewer line, not one clogged drain. Las Vegas Water Experts clears, inspects and repairs sewer lines in Henderson homes. We run a camera down the line, so you can see what’s wrong before you decide on a repair. We’re a family owned and operated plumbing company based in Henderson, NV, led by owner Jason Miller, who has 24+ years of plumbing experience. We’re licensed (Nevada contractor license 0095727, C-1D Plumbing), bonded and insured, and we answer 24/7 at 702-577-5505.
Sewage Backing Up Right Now?
Stop running water, including the washer, dishwasher and showers, so nothing else goes down the line. Keep people and pets away from sewage. Then call us. We answer 24/7.
Signs Your Main Line Has a Problem
- More than one fixture backs up at the same time, often a tub or shower first
- Toilets gurgle or bubble when a sink or washer drains
- Water comes up in the shower when the toilet is flushed
- A sewage smell inside, or near the cleanout outside
- A soggy, sunken or unusually green patch over the sewer path
- Clogs that keep coming back a few weeks after a snake
What Usually Causes Main Line Trouble
- Roots. Trees and shrubs planted close to the line go after any small crack or loose joint.
- Grease and scale buildup. Kitchen grease plus hard-water scale narrows the pipe over the years.
- Offset or separated joints where the line has shifted.
- Low spots where waste and water collect.
- Wipes and other “flushables” that don’t break down.
How a Sewer Call Works
- Clear the line. We open the line from the cleanout with a cable machine, or hydro jet it when grease, scale or roots call for it, to get you flowing again.
- Camera inspection. We send a camera down the line to see the pipe’s condition and look for roots, breaks, offsets or low spots.
- Show you. You see the footage with us, and we explain whether it was just a clog or there’s damage that needs repair.
- Repair options. We explain the repair options that fit what the camera found, and what each one involves, before any work starts.
- Check the result. After the work, we confirm the line is flowing.
Many “you need a whole new sewer line” situations turn out to be roots or buildup that can be cleared. The camera helps show which one you have.
Who Is Responsible for Which Part?
Who is responsible for which section of the line can depend on where the problem is. We’ll help you sort it out, and if the camera shows the problem isn’t on your side, we’ll tell you.
Buying an Older Henderson Home?
A sewer camera inspection before closing can save you a nasty surprise. A standard home inspection usually doesn’t include running a camera through the main line. We can inspect it and walk you through the footage.
Permits
Sewer line repairs and replacements often need a permit. As a licensed contractor, we pull the permits the job needs.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I really need a camera inspection?
For a recurring or whole-house backup, it’s the best way to know whether you have a simple clog, roots or a broken pipe, and it helps avoid digging in the wrong place.
Can you get rid of roots for good?
We can cut and clear roots and restore flow, but they can come back if the crack they’re getting through isn’t repaired. The camera shows where they’re getting in.
Where is my sewer cleanout?
In many homes it’s outside near the front or side of the house, a capped pipe sticking up a few inches from the ground. Some homes also have one inside or in the garage. If you can’t find it, we will.
Can I just use a store-bought drain cleaner on the main line?
We don’t recommend it. Chemical cleaners rarely clear a main-line clog, they can damage older pipe, and they make the line hazardous to work on.
Will you show me the camera footage?
Yes. You’ll see what we see before you decide on any repair.
